Villa Romana / 3D Visualization

Istria, Croatia, 2021

Landscape design: Svit Oliver Katanec

Rendering: Gregor Erjavec

Located in the heart of Istria, Villa Romana is a small summer home enclosed by wilderness, olive tree orchard and a garden to connect with nature. It combines earth tones with traditional materials and is embedded into a lush Mediterranean landscape, where indigenous plants such as ornamental grasses and olive trees are the main elements and together with gravel, they blur the line between the built and unbuilt, allowing them to grow endlessly and create a spontaneous always changing garden.

The project focuses on landscape design, modelling and visualization and was made with collaboration between Svit Oliver Katanec and Gregor Erjavec.
